Hi
everyone
My
name is Holly and I am the Managing
Director of P5
Rock for Life, a company made
up of all the Primary 5’s in St Mary’s Primary School,
Edinburgh.
The
Company, P5
Rock for Life,
was set up to write, record, produce, market and distribute our
Eco Song, with the profits being donated to L'Arche,
our chosen charity.
St
Mary’s Eco Code song, about being eco friendly, was written,
produced, covers designed (five different ones) and the song performed by the whole of St
Mary's Primary School.
We
are giving the profits to a Scottish Charity, L'arche,
involved in building a home for
'special needs' adults and are
going to set a target of one thousand CDs and as many emailed
song files as possible.
With
the support of our teachers and the hard work of every member of
our company, we have produced a brilliant song that will help do at
least three great things worthy of your support.
1.
We will be able to donate money to help solve a real problem.
2.
Highlight the need for everyone to do something to change the
way we all use our finite resources.
3.
Show that if we all join together and work hard, we can make a
difference.
My
most important job is to get you to
